Flow into Autumn with Ease
with Sunnah Rose and Thalia Pellegrini
Sunday 29th September, 5pm – 7:30pm
This time of year is known as the Autumnal Equinox, which spiritually about balance, preparation and reflection.
Prioritising one’s own health is key as we move in to the darker and colder months. Nourishment comes in many forms – movement and connecting to one’s breath is part of what keeps the mind and body healthy but also how and what we eat, and how well we sleep – all contribute to our sense of wellness day to day.
Come join Sunnah and Thalia for an afternoon that’s all about you. Looking after yourself is not a luxury, it’s vital to your health and well-being. So much of our time and attention is given to those we love. Let’s turn our focus inwards for a few hours of self-care, as the weekend comes to a close.
We will spend the first part of this session exploring yoga postures in a strong but gentle flow, focussing on the stability in our bodies and minds, using the breath as our anchor and from there discovering true presence. We will explore a variety of balances to help us enjoy the space in the centre and inversions to explore how that centre can change.
Thalia will then share her knowledge on how best to optimise your energy levels. She will reveal how simple dietary changes can transform how you feel each day. She will also provide a healthy snack and take your questions.
This workshop will end with some restorative yoga and a yoga nidra practice before heading off for a relaxed evening.
